Beretta UGBEXCEL25

I have had NO luck contacting a real person at Beretta USA.

Perhaps someone here can help me.

I own a UGB that fails to reliably feed ammo. If I flush the extractor area with Kroil, it will work for a while and then it goes back to not feeding the second shell. I have had as many as 5-6 malfunctions during some tournaments. I can't afford to have that many birds lost to malfunctions.

I like the gun, but my focus needs to be on the target, not worrying about a malfunction.

Have you tried different ammo? Is this a reloaded ammo or factory ammo issue? Is there some form of burr or other minute object causing some interference?

I have fired one as part of a gun writer's review - it worked flawlessly when we all tried it, and it was VERY soft shooting

Thanks for the questions.

Only factory ammo has been used in it. Estate/ Rio/ Remington. Both 1 Oz and 1 1/8 Oz loads.

Looked for burrs and stuff. The gun worked better for a while after oiling the chamber area, but not for a hundred rounds.

As I said, the one I got to try went through a round of sporting without a hitch at all - everyone who tried it liked it, as unique as it is.........maybe see if Rich Cole in Maine can help? I know he does the O/U's but maybe he has a name if he can't help.

Good luck

I did call Cole and was told that their UGB guy only works at nights and on weekends. I asked to leave a number for him to call me and was informed that the phones were shut off at night and on the weekends......

I hope her nose is growing.

I have shot about 1,500 rounds through it without problems. Then it started to go down hill from there. Yes, I did clean it per instruction book.

Have you talked to the dealer you bought it thru ??

Have you discussed the issue with an authorized service rep at Beretta / or at an authorized Beretta service center / considered sending it to Beretta to have it checked ??

Got lucky today and was contacted by a real live person from Beretta. He was most helpful and instructed me to send the gun back to the plant in MD. They will go over it.

When I get it back I'll do an update.

Thanks to all!
