Beretta Tomcat 3032 vs KEL-TEC 32

Get the P32, its lighter, thinner, doesn't jam, accurate (Beretta isn't bad either).

Do a search on the forum and you will find the Kel Tec P32 is the best thing since sliced bread. Awesome carry piece.

Just my opinion.

P32 doesn't have external safeties. However, it is drop-safe (which I am not sure the Tomcat is) and longish trigger pull make is as safe as a DAO revolver. For the weight of a Tomcat you might as well go for a .380 Colt Mustang or Pany, IMO.

Definitely the P-32.

Kind of funny to see all of these tomcats floating around the used market right now.

Gunsmiths have said a lot of bad things about the tomcats and bobcats around here.

Too thick for pockt carry too!

I have a Tomcat and I love it. I looked at the Keltec and was advised by my friend not to get it. I understand now that was because he is rabidly against anything less than you can carry uncomfortably, and didn't know that I was comparing it to a Tomcat. The only problems I've had with it is firing Fiochi SMHP 61. gn. I would average 1-2 jams per box of 50. With FMJ or Winchester silvertips I've had no problem. The SA/DA, and the tip up barrel were the final selling point. And it fits in to the pocket of my 30 inch waist Dockers and you'll never notice it.

P-32 for sure. I wear mine with the belt clip. Light, thin, safe, accurate and reliable.
Mine has been anyway.

And if you hear from my Louise, won't you tell her I love her so?

I used to have the Tomcat, I sold it to buy the Keltec. The Tomcat was a good gun but too heavy and thick for what its purpose is.

If you have large hands, I do, stay away from the Tomcat as you will get hammer bite. My P32 is in Florida being repaired by the Kel-tec people. I hope, when it returns, it works as well as the ones other people have on this and other boards. If it does I will be a happy camper. Regards, Richard.

Never thought I would buy a "tupperare" gun.Sold my tomcat to buy the KEL-TEC.

Size and locked breach were the reasons.

Too bad it does not have a Ti frame.

Cheers,

ts

I've heard a lot of good things about the P32 but have yet to actually see anything but a picture of one. I wouldn't mind examining one first hand, but I don't know where to go in the state of North Dakota to see one. Anybody here from North Dakota know where they are?
