I know this post got deleted earlier but if you have not, it will benefit you to goto www.berettausa and get their take on the Smith and Wesson treason.

We need to support Beretta with our pocket books.

I'm proud to have one of the finest pistols in the world in my collection. Now I have to scrape up the cash for a Glock and a Browning Hi-Power.

i really like the new Beretta 9000 pistol.

With Beretta's stand against Marylands policies, i wonder if our MD handgun review board is going to take their time evaluating the new design.

I wonder if we will have a constraint of trade issue, especially if new S&W designs sail right thru...

Houston would be an excellent re-location site for Beretta. Easy access to one of the busiest Ports of Call in the nation and a Government friendly to freedom.

I really hope they will consider leaving the People's Republic of Maryland. Along these same lines, I hope they will stop selling anything in Massachusetts. Let Mass deal with S&W.

Beretta may be speaking out of both sides of its corporate mouth. They have a production facility here in Maryland and have the contract for the Maryland State Police. They did lobby against SB 211 but I wonder if they are now willing to stick it to Maryland and move to the more firearm friendly state of Virginia.

The way it stands now it would be impossible for them to speak from both sides of their mouth since they have rejected the S&W deal. I would not be surprised if they lose that contract to Sell-us-out and Whine.

Virginia would be a better choice than Houston. Keep in mind that Dr. Beretta, the CEO flew into from Italy to MD for the express purpose of telling the Govenor that Beretta did not want any money for smart-gun technology and that there would be no ballistic fingerprinting or any other gun control measures taken-----contracts or no contracts.

Bravo! I have been anxiously awaiting to see a comment like this from Beretta in print.
