Beretta Nano

I have somehow re-assembled my beretta nano incorrectly. Now, when the trigger is pulled, the slide backs off the frame about a quarter of an inch before the striker is released. I detail stripped it down twice and reassembled and I still have the problem. Help appreciated.

The only time I had a simular problem with my Nano it was the retaining pin. The pin was rotated out of the correct position. I think the field strip instructions hold the answer. Good Luck.

The only thing you could get backwards that might cause this, would be the striker block, and at that, I don't know if it is possible.

When replacing the slide, make sure the takedown pins flat is up, then put the slide on, and pull it all the way back, as if you're cocking it. Last, use a punch on the striker deactivation button, to let the striker fall. It should work afterward.
