Beretta Model 96 G

Does anyone have experience with the Beretta 96 (.40cal) pistols. I have the chance to get one its the decock only version. Any thoughts on this pistol?

I really liked the Beretta 92 SB that my dad has. I would REALLY like to own the Beretta 96 G Brigadier. In my opinion, you are making an excellent decision.

I know of several large agencies that have gone to the "G" model, after having very bad experiences with the S, SB or F variants. Officers wishing to use their older models would, on occasion, find the "disable" lever in the down position, rendering the pistol inert.
