Beretta may leave Maryland over restrictive gun laws

Link to a youtube vid,Maryland is in process of passing restrictive firearms laws that will cause Beretta to relocate.

I hope this will become the new standard of dealing with restrictive laws and higher taxes.

I also hope the states will fight for their Constitutional soveriegnty.

Interestingly, many of the firearms manufacturers have their genesis in the "Blue" North East: Remington, Ruger, S&W, Colt, & Winchester.

Agree, if the high taxes are not enough. Firearms manufactures have to put up with a myriad of legislation targeting their livelihood and well as the employees. I fail to understand the logic in any of this.

I would send a clear message and move.

Perhaps some lawmakers think that might be a good thing. “This is what happens when anti-gun people write legislation,” said Mr. Reh of Beretta. “They either don’t understand the impact of what they are doing or they just don’t care.” They should, because these firms not only bring jobs and economic growth, they’re helping defend the nation.

SIG-Sauer, HK-USA...

HK USA & SIG Sauer were located in VA for a long time. Then SIG moved to Exeter NH(check spelling) & HK-USA moved to AL.

I've heard that AL has become one of the most pro-business states in the nation.
In terms of quality of life, taxes, training-skill level of employees(education), environmental regulations(EPA), labor issues, infrastructure(roads, highways, bridges, streets), and crime rates(public safety).
