Beretta Jetfire .25acp

I am leery of tip-barrel pistols because their slides are very hard to rack (if you ever need to clear a jam) and also because they lack extractors by design (more of a problem with .22 than with .25). Also, accuracy eventualy degrades in at least some of the guns.

That said, jetfire is the best of the tip-barrel 25s and had been issued to Italian policein the past. I ended up with a Kel-tec P32: same weight, .32acp caliber, same recoil level.

I have the 22 short minx that my father handed down to me. its got to be near 20 years old. i shot it last night and it is very accurate. its a nice thing to have when your not carrying a gun.

Oleg is on the mark - get a Kel-Tec P32. The Jetfire is single action & not as safe to carry in your pocket as a double action Kel-Tec, Guardian or Autauga .32. I just sold my Beretta .25 Model 21 Bobcat & got another Autauga. Why carry a marginal round like the .25 when you can carry a .32 for roughly the same size gun & cost. Kel-Tecs are about $250, Autauga/Guardian a little more.

My Beretta Jetfire 950 in .25ACP has been 100% reliable with nearly 500 rounds through it. I got mine for 179.00 though... I don't think I'd pay $250.00 for it though. I really like how small it is and how it really likes my Hornady hollowpoint ammo. I once shot one of my college literature books and the bullet expanded and stopped at page 800.

It's a classy looking gun and I'd do it all over again if I had to. Not for $250.00 though. For that much, I'd get a Beretta Tomcat.

Great mouse gun! Mine has been 100% reliable. Like Ben mentioned, $250 is way too high, IMO. I've seen them under $200. It will pay to to shop around.

I got mine for 89 bucks at a pawn shop. It works fine. As far as pocket carry, I think Jerry Ahern markets a pocket holster specifically for the 950.

Great little gun. No problems in 18 yrs. $250 too much. I have hideout guns all over the store. The lil Beretta rests IN the cash register under some bills. Made a lil cutout in the divider.

Sooprise!

I got mine in mint condition for $115 used. It was excellent. 100% reliable and surprisingly accurate. I used 35gr Hornady XTP's in it. Not a manstopper by any means but a lot better than harsh language :)

I liked it a lot. My only complaint was the finish. As I carried it IWB and in my pocket a lot it tended to gather surface rust quite easily.

When I got my Keltec P-32 last year I sold it to a buddy who still uses it.

I'd consider one of the new stainless ones but, to be honest, for the money you may as well buy the P-32.

Great little gun for what it is and 100 percent reliable. The price is way to high, I bought mine new for about $125.00 at the pawn shop. I also bought a Beretta Model 21 ,22 for $100.00, its a nice gun to, but the Kel-tec P-32 is the way to go.
7th :)
