Beretta Elite II finish

I just recently bought a beretta Elite II and it has some nicks around the decocker and other areas, and i was wondering if anyone else expierienced some nicks, and dings in their new beretta's right out of the box, i guess for the price i was expecting a flawless finish, and i hope it was not used before.

I've had my Elite II for about two months and really like it. I know what you mean. Mine also has some small marks like yours. A little one here and there. They look to me to be tooling marks or something done during manufacture. After all, this pretty much an assembly line gun. I use mine in IDPA matches and have added some character myself. I too was really expecting a better (higher quality) finish than what they have. I highly recommend the Wolff trigger spring replacement part you can find on thier website. Easy to install and made the trigger feel much better in both SA and DA.
