Beretta Customer Service?

Do any of you guys have any experience with Beratta Customer Service ? I just got a second hand 92F, I would like to get a new Locking Block, springs, and the sights need to be drifted to the right. Are they as good as Glock Customer service? I'm planning on calling them tomorrow. I plan to use the gun to practice with as it is the gun I use with the PA Army Guard pistol team, and the Correctional facility I work for uses it too.

DocMac,

I don't know how they are with shipping a pistol to them but they are absolutely
-terrible- at answering their E-mail. I've been trying to get a simple answer to a few questions about my new Couger .45 for over a month now.

Beretta's shop in MD is not as big as you might think and their front shop is fairly tiny, so customer service is sadly lacking for individual requests.

However, most questions about Berettas can be answered by the folks on the Beretta-L maillist, and there is at least one Beretta employee on the list who can look up the really tough questions.

For info, check out

It's a good list, rigorously moderated to keep out the flamers and lamers.

I have a friend who sent a Tomcat in to Beretta for failures to feed. They sent it back with two new magazines and it fed fine. The only problem was it misfired quite a bit after it came back. He sent it in the second time and they sent him a new Tomcat a week later with no questions asked. They did this without any insistence from my friend (he just wanted it fixed). That's pretty good in my book.
