Beretta AL390 Silver Mallard 12 GA. Automatic

Just bought a nice clean used Beretta AL390 Silver Mallard, the gun is in excellent shape but looks to be like the owner before me never cleaned the thing, needless to say i completely disassembled the gun and give it a complete cleaning, was wandering if anyone out there has one and what kind of experiances they have had with them. this is my first Beretta shotgun, have owned a few Remingtons in the 1100 series and 870 series. I have not had the chance to fire this Beretta yet but hoping to take it out tomorrow for a short shooting session to see how it fares with 2 3/4" and 3" loads.:D
 
I have owned several 1100's and a Berreta 390 like yours,, you are going to love it..mine will even cycle my very lite 3/4 oz loads.
 
Took the AL390 Silver Mallard out to shoot it today, but there were turkey hunters out and about every where so i was only able to rap 4 rounds thru it, they were some winchester AA i had reloaded and it spit em right on thru, and the recoil was very light, seemed to shoot right on the money, i think i spent a nice 450.00 here for the Silver Mallard, its an awesome gun

:cool: I have loved my 390 for over 5 years now. Can't imagine a more dependable, better looking, softer shooting semi. You got a decent deal on it to boot. Shoot and enjoy!
