Beretta 96 Ph 3 Malf?

While firing rounds #151-300 in a 96 FS "Border Marshal" (Brigadier slide, .40 Auto) today, the pistol had two feedway stoppages, one with Speer Lawman ball and the other with PMC ball. The pistol is stock except for the addition of a Red Buff and a Wolff INS trigger spring and (at the strong suggestion of the fellow at Wolff's who worked with the INS on the trigger spring) a 15# recoil spring. Obviously, it's a new pistol, but there were no similar incidents during the first 150 rounds, and the pistol was set up the same. In both cases today, the cartridge fed partly from the factory magazine and jammed at an angle before chambering. Any thoughts, similar experiences, or suggestions?
