Beretta 25 ammo brand

I can get 50gr RN and have a choice between WWB, Fiocchi, and S&B. Is either of them preferred, or to avoided with the 950? I haven't shot it yet.

I would rank them:

Fiocchi
S&B
WWB (distant third)

I would try the first two, and see which one your gun likes best.

Very cool guns! Considered to be maybe the best and most effective .25 made. 8+1 of .25 ACP in rapid single action fire is like a sewing machine, should dissuade most attackers.

I haven't found any ammo that can be chambered in my 950 that has had any problems. Sure, there's a bad round once in a while. It pretty much eats anything, and is amazingly accurate. I don't use the sights, I just "point" and shoot. It's easy to hit where you point at 30 feet or less. Mine is getting close to 40 years old.

Ditto. I've run 50gr FMJ ammo from Fiocchi, S&B, PMC, Winchester, Aguila, and Remington along with 35gr JHP Hornady Critical Defense in my 950BS, and I've not noticed that any brand was particularly less reliable than any other. Frankly, it's a very reliable pistol by small blowback standards.

I mostly run PMC simply because I picked up a bunch of it on clearance from an LGS. :)

Thanks. I picked up a box of WWB at Walmart (they only had two, and that was it for .25) and a box of Remington at a LGS. I hope to try them out next week. The S&B and Fiocchi had to be mail ordered (for free). Might try them later.

The only thing I've ever done is to roll the rounds on something flat before I put them into a magazine. Wobblers get put in, if they can be, via the tip up barrel.
