Beretta 92FS Trigger work?

I know this topic has been brought up here but I can't find anything with the Search Function:confused:. Are there any potential drawbacks to replacing the spring on my beretta 92fs to reduce trigger creep/pull?

Is it going to just change the pull on the first round?

Where can I get the spring?

Brownells' sells a gadget made to help the trigger pull on the Beretta series of pistols it seems to work ok-but it is for only single action mode of fire, the double action mode revolves around the trigger bar, mainspring weight, firing pin block and a few other things. I have seen Beretta pistols with very nice and lighter double action pulls- but the data on doing it is proprietary.

Soda Pop, changing the spring should reduce the weight of pull a little but it won't help with creep. The only way to get rid of creep is by having a trigger job done on the pistol. A lighter spring will lighten both SA and DA pulls. George

I know this is an Old post, but I'm about to finally make a move on getting it done.

What kind of "Trigger Work" needs to be done to get rid of the Single action "Creep"?

I don't care about the pull just getting rid of the SA Creep.
