I was looking for the the trigger pull numbers in DA and SA mode for the Beretta 92FS. I can't find them on their website on in their owners manual. Thanks.

nifer,

If you can find a way to contact Ernest Langdon, contact him about a trigger job on your Beretta. I've heard he does a PHENOMINAL trigger job on Beretta 92's. If you don't know about Ernest, he was in the USMC and one of their spec ops team or specialist teams. He got out of USMC and worked for Beretta as the LEO rep in charge. He now shoots for Triton bullet company. Ernest has won IDPA Nationals as well the 2000 IPSC Production National Champion. I've never met him, but everyone tells me he is a great guy, with great skill and knowledge.

Ran into Ernest a month or so ago in NJ, during a Firearms Instructor Seminar. Very intersting guy. Taught a couple of instruction course. I think he was shooting an Elite pistol i think????

I think it varies from individual pistol to pistol. I have a database of trigger pulls containing thousands of weapons sampled (it was put together by a lawyer who needed it to testify whether or not a particular weapon could have accidentally gone off).

For 35 Berettas, in SA, the min was 4.0 lbs, the max was 6.6lbs, and the average was 5.2 lbs. In DA, the min was 8.8lbs, the max was 15.9 lbs, and an average of 12.2 lbs.

I don't know if the chart takes into account customized pistols with trigger jobs though, or just stock pistols.
