Beretta 92FS Compact L

Just saw a new Beretta stainless 92FS Compact L. It has a short slide like on the Centurion and also a short grip frame. The magazine is wide like regular 92 but holds only ten. Did this gun model exist before the high capacity magazine ban and can I expect to find 12-14? round magazines readily available? I have seen a Taurus compact just like this with 13 round mags but never a Beretta.

Yes, Beretta sold a 92FSC that was shorter in the barrel and the frame, they were made in Italy and the pre-ban capacity was 13. I just got some rubber adapters that fit on the full size 92F mags that allow an uninterrupted grip. Made by Farrar tool company, about $5 apiece. Good for you reloads and full size pre-ban mags are readily available.

I have a Beretta 92SBC compact. it was made in Italy and came with 13 rnd. mags. I too har the Farar rubber sleeves that allow the 15 rnd 92 mags to be used. i also have their nice rubber grips. The barrel is about 1/2" shorter than a std. 92 and the grip frame also. It is a nice gun.
