I pick up my 92fs from the pistolsmith last week. I had him install ashley express sights with the standard dot and do a carry trigger job. This gun is my IDPA and summer carry weapon. After working with the sights for while they are faster, but they do take some time to get use too. The trigger job is the best, I had to relearn the trigger. It was like getting a new gun. The work was done by Jack Weigand of Weigand Combat Handguns INC.

Did the carry trigger get rid of the slack on the single action pull?
Besides small changes like sights, I find the Beretta's to be great out of the box.

If you carry a large gun like the Beretta in the summer, what do you carry in the winter?

Croyance,

Yes the slack in the single action trigger is gone. The double action is even better than my Sig P220 (made is W. Germany).

I carry the beretta in the summer because it is Stainless Steel, I sweet alot and rust blue guns in a day. In the winter a carry a Sig P220 in 45ACP. When the stainless P220 comes down in price I will get one. I think that it will take a few years though.

Hiding a full size gun is not all that hard for me, I'm 6-2 about 250lbs built like a linebacker. I carry in small of the back with a baggie T-shirt for everyday stuff. If I have dress up a bit I wear a lite sport coat.

The sights cost me about $60, installing then $50 and the action job $90. Turn around time was about 3 weeks. But I have to say that I recieved faster turn around than most. I shoot IDPA with Jack.
