My question is are these guns still made and if not when did beretta stop making them? I am also interrested in knowing where I can get factory magzines from beretta for this? This gun cought my eyes because I'am looking at a 92fs but its way to big for concealed carry.

I am interrested in the 92 type m becuase its basicly the same gun as the 92fs same operating features it holds less rounds then the 92fs but I feel its size, slimness and overall more ccw orintated design is worth the trade off of a few rounds in this case 8+1. I want a slim single stack 9mm for carry and this seems to be the perfect gun so guys please help thanks in advance.

Beretta is still making it, cataloging the Beretta 92 L Type M in Bruniton and INOX finish. See their web site. I'm sure you can get the magazines from Beretta and elsewhere on the web. They were making a INOX version called the Custom Carry II, but it is not listed any more on the website.

Someone was selling a 92SB Compact Type M which is more preferable for conceal carry since it has the round trigger guard on Sturmgewehr.com. These also had the very nice high gloss blue finish, not the Bruniton matte black finish. ALso, this one has the thin grips.

One of the problems with the current ones are the grips are not as thin as the originals.

I used to have 2 of those but my ex took one of them and I stupidly traded off the other. I have since bought a Bruniton finished, SB Compact Type M with factory Trijicons, a special run just before they cut over to the 92FS Type M.

It is one of my several single stack 9s that I won't trade off.

Regards,
James
