Beretta 92 rear sight adjustment help

I've tried the hammer and punch method of moving the rear sight to no avail "its stuck". Is there a better way to move the sight or is there an alignment tool out there.

The rear sight dovetail on a Beretta is typically milled very tight. Use a bigger hammer.

I sent my Beretta 96 to the factory service department to have the rear sight adjusted to point of aim. The gun came back with a bash mark on one side of the sight, so I guess the factory also has trouble getting the sight to budge. However, I appreciated the before and after test targets that were enclosed so much that I've decided that the bash mark is, after all, a beauty spot. ;)

The sight tightens as it is moved to the right (looking from rear of gun). If you are trying to move POI to right, it may be easier to have gunsmith remove sight and then stone it down so it does not fit as tight. It then can be adjusted further to right. (put Meggar adjustibles on mine)
