So they finally got a few of these back in stock from Italy and I ordered one (yay for coupon codes...).

Has anyone here used one and know how they fair with different ammo types (rn, hp, high velocity vs standard)?

I have a Kadet Kit 2 for the CZ 75 so we'll see how this one compares but it's always good to know what they like; the Kadet will eat anything pretty much but it's all steel with a slide "cutout" vs. this which is Al with a steel barrel.

looks cool I never knew it existed. Kinda nice since the 92 already has the 'cut out' that they can get away with a aluminum slide.

I bought one off eBay about 6 years ago.

I have only test fired it, but it worked flawlessly on my 92 and 96 with junk ammo that I always have laying around.

While on the subject of conversion kits, I also have a couple of Kadet kits that have performed flawlessly both on the the CZs and my AT 84.

Also, I purchased a Witness .22 conversion that likewise has given me no problems.

I have 2 kits and both prefer to eat plated ammo. Both kits were jam-o-matics with lead wax coated bullets. That is the only issue I had and it was ammo caused malfunctions.

Thanks for the info I'll have to see about wax coated lead. Unless it's target shooting I tend to use plated stuff in my plinkers so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I almost forgot one other foreign handgun conversion kit I have:

I purchased one of the Argentine Hi-Power kits, which also works flawlessly. The only thing I don't like about it is that it makes the gun look like a SIG, square and blocky.

Well it arrived, seems well made and cycles dummy rounds perfectly, now to try it out this weekend :)

If I'd known they made these previously I'd have picked one up a long time ago...
