You must be referring to the 9000S, Beretta's new pistol with the "fiberglass reinforced technopolymer frame", yes?
I'm wondering if the 10-round M96 mags will fit as is (no spacers or adapters). I have 6 of these for my Border Marshal 96, and am considering a 9000S as a smaller, lighter CCW. Sharing mags would be a real plus.

no single stack version is comming out any time soon.
the 9000S hasn't hit the US yet but the .40cal DAO version will be here in the fall and by the winter the 9mm ones should be comming in. there was a review of it in a Handguns magazine i believe. also at www.beretta.squawk.com there is a review of it.

I was at my local gun emporium today and was speaking with a Police Weapons Instructer, Anyway he told me that his department has three on order and was told that Beretta only shipped 7000 over and they had orders for over 13,000. So I guess you better get in line and take a number
