beretta 9000: ETA?

Anybody try or handle one yet?
How does it match up size wise with their other handguns? It looks smaller than the compacts more like a cheetah size handgun.
 
Just seen the pictures of it. I believe they are suppose to hit the gun shops in June :)

It is the same thickness as a Beretta 92. Think of it as a 92 with a chop and bob job. Too chunky for my taste, but as a backup to a 92 or 96, since it can use the same mags, it should be a good choice.
 
its quite a chunky gun. the closest i've got to seeing one is a life sized picture in the beretta catalog. it looks like its got quite a large grip to it. also there is a picture of it from the front and it looks at least as wide as a 92. it would make a good backup for a 92 though or just good to carry and then carry some 15rd 92 mags as backup mags.

I handled some of berettas cool new gun yesterday but i didn't hold or see a 9000. i shot an Elite II however. nice gun, i liked it alot. shame i already have a 92G Elite.
