Beretta 87 Cheetah .22LR - opinions?

The local shop can order one for me in blued finish with wooden grips for $459. I love the way it fits my hand and as all Berettas, it is really easy on the eyes. It will be used for casual plinking when it is not getting lots of Remoil lovingly rubbed all over it.

I was wondering if I can get some feedback here regarding the accuracy and reliability of this pistol. My .22s tend to go about 500-1000 rounds per month in the summer-time, so I want to make sure that is capable of better accuracy than I am and will not be ammo sensitive, as some smaller Berettas can be.

Here's a link to Beretta's page:

Anyone here got some experience with these?

I have the 87bb 22lr target version (same thing except longer barrel and shroud). The target version shoots accurately, is easy to field strip, and is fun to shoot. The only failures I've had were with cheap ammo (nice hit on the primer but didn't fire), never had a problem with CCI mini-mags or stingers. Hope you enjoy it if you decide to get it. And I do agree, it has some real nice lines to it (looks even better in person than in pictures).
