Beretta 84,85, 87 Cheetah?

Hello all, does anyone have 2 Cheetah's, one in 380 and one in 22lr? Being they re-released the 87 in 22lr, I am considering buying one. If I could buy a 380 top end and mag, and also run that, it would be very important to me. I am in NJ, the home of one permit per gun.

Conversions, however, are legal here.

If you own both, can you see if the 380 slide fits on the 22lr frame? Does the barrel fit?

I would greatly appreciate this information, and it will help me decide my next purchase.

As always, thank you for your effort!!!!

Regards

Rich

Just saw the price.

That's $300 more than my 85FS in .380. I doubt they'd be compatable but don't know. For that kind of money you could find a nice older 41.

I already have a 41!!! I am a 22 shooting fool, or else I would never entertain 800 dollar 22 pistols. But somehow, if I could get it to also shoot 380, all would be right.

Without slide measurements ( rail width) I won't know. Visually, it looks like it would work.

I am not certain though, and I will not buy the 87 if it can't be converted.

Thank you
