There is apparently going to be a Cougar in
357 SIG. Has anyone seen it? Seen any reviews?

No, I haven't, but I've got the Cougar in .45 and if the .357 is more fun than the 'big' Cougar, well... it won't be legal...

I hope somebody's got some answers on the .357sig version, because lord knows you won't find any good information on their web page...

what do you want to know about it? i could find out basically whatever you want to know.

think of a the 8040 (.40cal cougar)

now picture it looking EXACTLY the same but with 1 internal change. the barrel.

basically beretta did what most gun companies do. make a .357sig barrel and put it in a .40 gun.

i don't know if they did any internal changes to beef up the gun to handle the extra pressure the .357sig makes but i'm sure the gun will work fine.

its expected date of arrival is around late May or June. You most likely will be able to get one in the stores during the summer.

Beretta is also considering making a 92 series gun in .357sig. they are right now testing to see if the 96 is capable of handling the .357sig. the locking block in the 92 series guns is the part that gets the most wear on it. beretta has to test if it can handle the .357sig.
