Beretta 1201 stock option

I just added a Benelli M1 pistol grip stock to my 1201. The 1201 is an M1 for the most part at half the cost. Since they share the same design, the same stock CAN fit on both guns. Now you have the look and feel....with a bit more weight in your Wallet!
So...what do you call it...Berenelli ?

That is a VERY nice setup. I don't have a 1201FP but my buddy does ... too bad it's not a pre-ban otherwise I'd tell him to do it pronto!

Hotbrass, was that stock a bolt on fit, or did it require any modifications?

I already have a Choate MKV adjustable PG on my 1201FP, but I might snag a Benelli PG stock for comparison.

Seems like the Benelli one is longer and has more drop than the Choate, which might affect recoil management and the use of the factory irons, but I like the aesthetics of the grip better than the semi-fingergrooved grip on my stock.

This thing shoots Awesome...I really like the feel much better.
Sights line up great with the stock. IMO it's a "Must Do" if you have a 1201. It was a Bolt on Fit. No other Mods were done to fit the stock. You need a Deep 17mm socket to get to the bolt when you remove the Choate stock ( gun came with the Beretta pistol grip stock). If ya have a 1201......get the Benelli stock...
It fits solid. I took it to the range and shot around 50 rounds of 00 buck and rifled slugs. Stock worked perfect.
wish I could host these, but here are a few more pics.

Great! I'll keep an eye out for a Benelli PG to try. Certainly makes slinging it easier. Few places make slings for the 1201 that fit properly. I had to make a side mount front attatchment point from aluminum stock since mine didn't come with any sling hardware.

Thanks...the original configuration came with the Choate pistol grip stock....I prefer the look and feel of the Benelli stock...besides...I really wanted the Benelli M1 but, I lucked out on this Used preban for Under half the cost of M1 super 90. Came with Night Sights Too ! :D

Would it matter if it's pre-ban------since it only has one "evil" feature----namely the PG stock---------no detachable mag or any of those other things.

Also---would that stock also fit a Beretta ES100??? Since the ES100 and 1201 are cousins.

I have a preban 1200

Anyone know if the Benelli stocks will fit the 1200 FP as well, or just the 1201?

thanks, Brian
