I tried attaching a buddy's foreend light to my Benelli. #4 buck worked ok, but it was range ammo and I dind't get to see if my Fed 00 buck or slugs would work as it's against range policy.
The lighter birdshot didn't work 2/3 of the time.
I read that Wolff has a lighter spring to solve this problem, but someone suggested to me I wouldn't want to do that as it would cause increased wear on my Benelli.
Is this so? Should I skip the spring, and get a Remington 870 if I want something that will cycle with a light? Or should I just get the spring and borrow his light again to test it?
