They're recoil operated, so felt recoil may be slightly more than a pump action or gas operated semi auto shotgun.
Some don't tolerate lighter loads well; mine has been 100% with anything I've stuck in the magazine tube.
They can get finicky when you start hanging a bunch of stuff off 'em. Since it's a recoil operated shotgun, the more weight on the weapon, the more oomph it takes to cycle the action since that weight is absorbing recoil that's used to cycle the action.
Sidesaddles, if overtightened, can pinch the receiver and cause some functioning problems as well.
Be careful when loading it; the design of the carrier makes it easy to smash your thumb if you're loading in a hurry and not paying attention to what you're doing.
C-Rum sells a finger friendly, modified carrier that I've been meaning to buy for mine, just haven't got around to it.
It's a very clean autoloading shotgun, since all the gasses and stuff get blown out the barrel with the shot instead of being used to cycle the action.
Buy lots of ammo and run it hard.
