Benelli Magazine Extension - Who Makes 'em - Legal?

I want to put a magazine extension on my Benelli M1 Field.

Does anyone have any suggestions for top quality extensions. Money is not really a consideration...I want to make sure I get one that is 100% reliable.

Also, I understand that it is not possible/legal to get a Benelli factory extension...is it legal to put an aftermarket one on the gun...oh yes, one last detail, I live in Commiefornia.

Thanks gents!

i've had pretty good luck with nordic components mag extention on my M2. i bought it from midway. As far a legality......thats up to you. they have a couple configurations in regard to capacity.

Oh yeah, one other thing...do extensions work on the Benelli M1 and M2 models or are the threads different?

Thanks in advance for replies.

M1, M2 and SBE are the same thread. As previously mentioned, Nordic is quite possibly the best tube you can get. It comes with a new nut... but it's fixed to the tube.
Daves Metal Works also makes a very high quality tube, and uses the stock nut, so if you have a sling plate on your stock nut and want to run a sling, you can continue to use it. With a Nordic you'll need a mag tube clamp and sling mount that will attach to it.

Surefire also makes a nice tube... includes the usual spring, plus an ally follower.

Choate and TacStar are "econo-tubes". Some like them... some, not so much.

You can fit a genuine Benelli "plus 2" extension from a M2 Tactical (as seen in pic)... if you can find one that someone is willing to sell.

I've got a Nordic extended tube on my M2T, but I'm hanging on to the original tube just in case they get really scarce.
