In the year 2000 Benelli catalog, they introduced the M4 Super 90. The M4 has the operating system changed from recoil to gas. This apparently is because mounting heavy night vision equipment and other accessories whose additional weight could cause mulfunctioning of the recoil intertia system. Does any one have more information on this subject?
