Benelli M3 {H&K} Rear Ghost ring replacement ??

Try Benelli first, the same thing happened to my M3. I think they had issues with the early sites coming loose, can't remember for sure but I "think" the replacement was free.
I would think that they would replace it for free, makes them look good to their customers and others.

Benelli M3 Rear Ghost rings..
....I have yet to pull the rear GRs off my M4..but according to the schematic..the M4 has only 3 holes it secures with the reciver..I've taken off the M3 rear GRs..& it has 4 tapp'd screws securing it to the Rec'r..So I'd gather that the new M4 11707 model GRs will not interchange..Actually after pulling the wings & remainder of the M3 site completely off..I shoot better with em out of the way with the forward Site post{Wing'd also)..
I think I'd be better off just having a rail put on the rec'r top of the M3 & just mount a cobra or anything else I might want....Surely they make a rail that will cover the old 4 screw holes for the old GR..???

As far as email..benelli has sucked at helping me find the Ghost Ring Aperture replacement....Maybe calling them on the phone is better??..

Good news for my search for GR sites on my M3..If anybody has had the same prob.....
I emailed benelli..& they imediately UPS'd me at zero cost to me a brand new set of sites for my M3.....I also requested info for a 26" ribbed field barrel & avaialabilty...Got one in 2 weeks..& they threw in 5 new chokes that also fit my benelli M4 11707 that has the sliding stock LE/Military model...with extended +3 shell tube....I now own two M3..(One the preban H&K model..& 2 M4s..& they all shot the cheap stuff light loads wo one malfunction...The M3 is Inertia in auto mode{it's also a pump if needed for lower velocity or less lethat ammo...But cycles anything anyways....The M4 even cycles (Twin gas operated pistons} the little black Agulire mini shell....holds about 15 + of them...
Thanks 50Shooter & L2 for recomending getting in touch with Benelli...They bent over backwards ta help me out...I was about ta sell my M3..Glad I didn't & bought more....One of the M4s was issued to me on a field test deal..Carry it around ina chopper..
Yhe only think I wish I could locate now is a Rail of some kind that would mount on the upper part of the reciever of the M3 like the M4 comes with...
Does anybody make one that will secure in place of the Ghost ring {4 holes on the H&K model...3 on the newer model..0 Instead of having a smith drill & tap the rec'r??..

Just be careful as to what you attach to the M3's receiver, it doesn't like like stuff being hung off of it.
yes...I heard that ..because of the Inertia bolt style ,right???..
Do ya think a Kobra site on a rail might affect it??..I might ought'a just forget about that & just put a rail on one of my Remy 870 Pmaxs..especially since it's a steel receiver & easier to drill & tap for a rail in front of the ScatterGun tech Rear Ghost rings..& use the Kobra on it..

I think the big issue was the side saddles, I think it was putting stress or torquing the receivers. This in turn was causing the bolts to hang up and not fire, might be another question for Benelli to answer.
