Benelli M2 Magazine Tube Removal

Hi Guys,

I have a Benelli M2 with a UK 2 cartridge magazine, when the gun is field stripped the follower does not come out, it stops on the indent of the magazine (please see the attached pics).
The magazine tube and the follower in particular has a bit of swarf and is a little gritty so id like to remove the follower and clean the mag properly.

I have looked on youtube for videos on how to remove the magazine which shows using a heat gun and unscrewing it, however my magazine and how it connects to the receiver look completley different as you can see in the pictures. Plus id think it would be a little over the top to heat remove and re loctite the mag every time i want to clean it. Does anybody know of there is there a different way this magazine is removed?

Many thanks.

There's a couple companies that make 922r compliant kits for the Benelli's. Do a search and see which one works best for your needs.

From what I've seen, the heat gun is part of the way to remove the tube. Then replace it with the parts kit to make it an 8 shot gun.

Doesn't the mag tube have a plug in the muzzle end that's removable? I know my M3 does and if there's any dirt in it, I just run a patch through to clean it.
