i looking into getting myself a shotgun.
i know u guys like your 870's and the like but i just want some opinions on the benelli guns.
a trip to the range is in short order but will take time to formulate results.

i know you said most but just so you know we are out there i can afford a benelli and i have no desire to own one. i personally think that they are clunky for lack of a better term and downright ugly. :cool:
 
locked n' cocked, i can respect that fully. I have a Mossy 835 that I wouldn't give up, but i would like to add one to the collection.
 
I have fired two benellis a sport 2 and a M1 in 20 ga but it was gas op.
I personally prefer the beretta shotguns but in most situations they are more expensive than the benellis. But I just got a beretta 3901 and so far I love it.
 
I love my M1 super 90 but! Not to long ago I picked up a Remington 1100 in 20ga! that gun is a dream to shoot. I'm looking for one in 12ga to build into a black evil gun :) .
 
I have 2 M1 Super 90s and just bought a Remington 1100 Competition Master. I wanted something that doesn't beat the hell out of me when I shoot lots of slugs and buckshot. So, other than the recoil on the Benelli (which is worse than any other shotgun), they are great.
