Benelli M1 121 : Any fans of...?

Hello:

I am a BIG fan of Benelli shotgun's design and function. I recently had a chance to handle a friend's Benelli M1 121. I found it to be a no nonsense defense 12 gauge that had some vintage charm ( I believe it was the predecessor to the Benelli Super 90 Series ) and was wondering:

1- If there were any owner/fans of this model/variant?
2- When they were discontinued?
3- What a fair price on one would be?

I love mine. I recently pulled it out of the closet and was reminded at how light weight it is. Its a fun gun but really needs a rubber butt pad. If I remember correctly it can fire at about 5 RPS if need be. I tried and couldn't lift my arm for a week. Not sure when they stopped making them. I paid 500.00 4 years ago for one 98%.
 
I don't know anything about the 121 but...

I have owned my HK/M1 Super 90 since 1993 and love it.
Pistol grip and ghost ring combat sights. It's a keeper :)
