what is a good carry belt for my pancake holster for the money? how good are the daltech force The RoughCut® Bull Hide, Tan belt. thanks

Beltman is hard to beat. Highnoon also makes a nice belt.

The rough cut looks very basic. I have no personal experience with them. I would worry about its long term finish. Also only one color but if you are cool with tan looks like a solid deal.

Whatever brand you buy,,,

Whatever brand you buy,,,
Make certain it is a lined gunbelt.

It doesn't matter how thick the belt leather is,,,
It doesn't matter if it's cow or bullhide,,,
If it isn't lined and edge stitched,,,
The edge will eventually roll.

Beltman makes as good a belt as is out there,,,
But he's just one of many quality makers.

That's my advice.

For EDC I wear an instructors belt from Midway USA for 19.99. Since I wear cargo shorts and large tee shirts usually big & tall shirts that are extra long nobody sees my belt and its one of the best belts you can hang a holster on weather it be IWB or OWB. They wont sag or move when you go to draw if you have it snugged up good.
I know if you have to dress nice for work or other events your not going to wear this type of belt you will wear a nicer looking leather belt but for casual dress where your belt stays covered by your clothes this works very well and you can carry full sized 1911 without the belt sagging, rolling or coming up on draw.

I purchased my leather gunbelt from crossbreed holsters. I think it was around $60-65 bucks and has held up well in the past 2 years. I got it in brown instead of black. Foxx holsters also makes one for $40 bucks.

I don't care who makes them , but get it a little longer than you'd think. Those danged belts seem to have away of shrinking over the years. Must be the dry air.

YOU'VE noticed that too? Dry air....could be. I've been blaming those new fangled, digital cows.

In my experience, you can buy one belt from thebeltman.net and it will last for years or you can buy a cheaper belt that will last a year. I don't believe that you can beat the Beltman for quality and price.

I've got a Galco. A little pricier than some, but fortunately my wife took one of the many hints I dropped and got me one for my birthday. They seem to run a bit small. Figure 4" over normal belt size, 6" for IWB carry.

I also have a Beltman which is nice for leather, but I prefer my Wilderness Instructors Belt (5-Stitch) better. I don't usually tuck my shirt in so appearance is no concern.
