Wow!! I really don't know where to start. I understand the importance of using a quality holsters, and now quality belts. If you can't get the right combination, no matter how nice your piece is, it never feels right. So can someone point me in the right direction for a good quality belt. The best belt for the buck. Thanks,
I have belts from both of these makers. They are nothing short of fantastic IMO. I carry both IWB and OWB and they work great. You are smart to consider a belt. Your holster and belt function as one unit.
Good luck!
I've got a Don Hume from gunnersalley.com. Its supportive for a firearm, and even without its still nice having a good, stout belt especially when you're a stout man.
I just bought a 1 1/4 brown belt from The Beltman and had it done with 7 holes 3/4" apart instead of the normal 5 holes 1" apart. He makes his belts out of bullhide which is supposed to be tougher and less likely to stretch than cowhide. I can'tfigure out how the $100 belts from some of the makers could be any better.
