Belleau Wood and Chateau Thierry Colt 1911 Commemoratives

My Colt book from RL Wilson says that only 25 each of the Special Deluxe versions were produced.
As I stand to inherit a couple of these from a friend of the family, I am curious as to their value.
Both specimens are absolutely pristine, NIB, with their respective shadow boxes for display.
Original paperwork is probably with them as well.
There is also a doule date, double stamped Luger, and a few other oddments.

New...they were a grand each.
Now...Fjestad says bout $2,700 each singly in 100 percent cond.

Full WWI set would be..
Chateau Thierry
Second Marne
Belleau wood
Meuse Argonne

Full set with same ser # should be more than the sum of the individual values. Might be worth huntin down the other two.

Never mind Fjestad, that book is out of date, and invariably low on prices for high end collectables. As such, it is a great tool for buyers attempting to fox a gullible seller, but about worthless for actual valuations.
For example, they have H&K P9S .45 listed as about $650.00 in mint condition. Actual sale prices are closer to $1500-2000.00,
IF you can even find one. Those P9Ss in .45 are rare birds. The Match Target version is even rarer and far more valuable, but Fjestad doesn't even list it.

I want to know what they are *actually* selling for in the real world.
If anyone has data on a recent sale of one, please respond.

Like NADA and Kelly for vehicles...
Fjestad is history.
And decent for insurance or loan purposes.

Sorry I bothered you.
