For years I have just assumed certain "givens" always applied, or just "tried it until I found it", when deciding scope mount is the right height for a rifle & scope combo. Slow but works.
Yesterday, I was ask a question & don't have a clue. maybe someone here knows:
Are there any sites the will tell what size scope bell will clear according to rifle MFG / Base & ring chosen?
