Bell & Carlson M14/M1A stock?

Hello,

I'm in the process of locating a synthetic stock that is thicker in dimensions than the USGI fiberglass stocks. Purchasing a McMillan stock is not an option, and was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Bell & Carlson m1a stock.

The Standard Model M1A I bought in May of 97 came with a Bell & Carlson stock. It is, IMHO, a very good stock; the fit to the receiver, trigger group and barrel is very well done and it is a strong piece fiberglass, graphite and Kevlar. I also believe the baked epoxy finish is a bit better than some of the other paint finishes available.

For the price of one of these, I don't think you can go wrong.

Thanks for your feedback! Looks like I'll be ordering a Bell&Carlson stock soon. Any ideas where I could purchase one other than B&C? Also, is the stock thicker in dimensions than the USGI stocks? How about a ballpark price?
