Bell and Carlson Tactical Stock

I don't know if you're talking about the same model, but I saw a B&C Tactical stock a couple weeks ago that was ~$400. For that price, I'd get a McMillan. There's no question that they're the best and an A series stock isn't much more than $400.

Yeah for the price I would get a McMillian or an HS (have several of each). Bell and Carlson are great, but not in the same class (just price range) as the "better" stocks. Still have a 700 LA ADL in .308 that has a B&C camo stock that I picked up used (ebay for 100 bucks). Fit and finish is nice, but not like HS or McMillian. Just my 2 cents.

Best bet is to try all of them out and see which one fits and feels better to you. As far as wood stocks Fajen are tops with boyds a close second.

that doesn't seem like a bad price. I've heard positive comments about B&C, just that they're not up to the quality of McMillan. HS Precision stocks seem to generate a lot of different opinions, but their tactical stocks are pretty close in price to McMillan, and they have a 16-20 week backorder right now (I'm waiting for a sporter stock from them).

The stock you posted seems like it'd be a decent deal.

I may bite the bullet so to speak on this one. I will let you know how I like it.
Again thanks for everyones thoughts.

Choate tactical "sniper" stocks are a little cheaper and have the same if not better quality as the bell and carlson stock you sent the link for. Just another option.
