Begin fighting tyranny in the small things.

If you willingly have a social security number and comply with the many illegal actions of our government today, why should anyone believe you when you say at a certain point you will quit complying?

Read this article "Tyranny Lite" - The Accepted Standard in American Freedom" at the following link.

Check out this website and their links. It is real good and has given me new hope and vision for the future.

Refusing to automatically give out your SSN is OK. I do that as much as possible, or, have a memory lapse. However, the financial graveyards are full of people who didn't pay taxes and talked about it .

There's also been cases of some guys holding anti-tax seminars, which the faithful follow, only to get clobbered, while the gurus go on to the next town. Caveat emptor.

Two minor things I do at airports -
1. MAKE them ask for your ID, never volunteer it. It fights the acceptance of the "papers please" mentality.
2. If at all possible, don't use your driver's license, which is becoming the de facto internal passport. Use your military ID or international passport whenever possible. Use any other "state or federally recognized ID" (their words).

Minor stuff, I know, but you gotta start somewhere.

When "they" want ID, I show them my CHL card.
They ask me if I'm armed.
I ask them if they are police officers.
They say no.
I say it's none of their business.
They say they can't accept my CHL as ID.
I show them my picture and name.
They say they don't care.
I tell 'em they *have* to care.
... and it continues as people back up behind me.

When we run the CHL horse into the ground,
I show them my military (retired) ID.
And it starts all over again... :)

The loss of time usually is exceeded by the entertainment value. ;)

I'm makin' up for missing the protests of the '60s.
I was overseas and in uniform at the time,
so I have a *LOT* of "catchin' up" to do. :D ;D

Dennis, that's great & me too.

An old saw: "If you can't afford to go to the movies - go to the zoo. If you can't affotrd that, go talk to a polititian."

Cheap entertainment is where you find it. ;)
