So, instead, I bought a Colt Police Positive Special in 32-20 a few minutes ago on gunbroker.

My second Colt this year.

Could be the start of a trend.

I'll post some pix in a bit.
 
You're hooked Mike. I got my first Colt this year. I'm not sure if there are any support groups for that kind of addiction (but I could be wrong?) The frying pan therapy doesn't even work with a head as hard as mine. Some things are just worth the yelling. :D

Every time I'm thinking about buying a Glock I shoot one.. Then I compare it to my Springfield XD.. Then I buy another Springfield!



I'm sure this post will make a lot of people happy :D
 
I've been thinking of a Glock myself. Can't afford any guns at the moment, so, I checked out "Glock" at the library and am reading about them instead.
 
Now I know who the joker is who outbid me. Northern Virginia is not that far from central Texas. Just kidding.:D

Thats a nice gun in my favorite bore size. We will need a range report ASAP.

I have an early generation Glock 30 .45ACP that is a nail-driving, comfortable shooter. It's size and the fact that sighting with it is like looking down the deck of an aircraft carrier is a turn off but it's still a marvelous piece of engineering.

It just doesn't leave the house with me anymore since I've migrated back to revolvers.
