Bedded with devcon

Well, my first bedding/ pillar job is in place. I've been reading for weeks and prepping the stock, and finally did the job last night. I set my pillars in place with some JB Kwik, then bedded with devcon plastic steel, once they were set.
SO, here's the question, the devcon package claims that it reaches full cure in 24 hrs...so am i good to knock my gun loose after 24? or should i wait longer? And then how long should i wait before firing. I've read a few guys say to wait 2 weeks before firing, that seems a bit extreme to me though.
I'll post up some pictures after i pull it...if it looks good haha:D

Thanks for the vote of confidence:)
Ya, it was pretty nerve racking setting my gun in epoxy, i'll have a little anxiety until i pull it out...but i was very careful by filling every void and hole with clay and tested my release agent twice before setting anything. Just not sure if i can pull it tonight or wait another day.

You will find that most epoxies will take some time to reach a "full" cure. The 24 hour setup time allows you to start working with the Devcon, but if you wait a week or two the Devcon will become much harder and stronger.

Well it pulled yesterday without a hitch. The bedding had one small air bubble in front of the front pillar. The release agent I used took some cleaning...I ended up using acetone to wipe it all up. It looks great, we'll see how it shoots this week!

Well, full cure, is full cure, whatever the manufacturer states.
A couple of days should be sufficient, so long as it's stored at room temperature.
Remember it's only the area of the recoil lug that takes any significant load.
