any board members from Tempe az. I need help
sent a bulgarian makarov to Geoff Beneze in
Tempe aug,11,2000, can't seem to contact him
or get any info on my gun,he did answers once
via email said there was some health problems
but he was home. I have ask him to return gun
in what ever condition,(he was going to refinish).I understand from email I receive
that some others have had same problem.
Any advice or help.????

Wow. You mean this guy is just taking in other people's guns and keeping them? Sounds like a scam. I wonder if the Better Business Bureau has been notified. Did you check him out before you sent the Mak?
 
I failed in checking him out(at my age
should know better) however he was posting
on a mak board answering smithy questions
on the mak, also has a web site.

I guess I have sent, 15 different emails,
certified letter, phone calls. no luck.
other have told me the same.
 
I hear from him on both the IDPA and reload lists fairly often but I have not heard from him lately. I'll see if I can scrounge his email address. Semper Fi...Ken
 
Hi, uh, I'm also opening a shop. I work on mostly AR's, Glocks, AK's, rugers, remingtons, S&W, winchesters, savages, and most other models. I do this as a hobby, because it's fun and entertaining. All I charge you is postage. Send me your guns, and any ammo you have for them (I need to test my handy work) and a short note about what you'd like done with them. I'll be real sure to get back to ya ;) :rolleyes:

Bullet, your not a fool. He's been around a while. I would have sent a gun to him. This will get cleared up, but it may be a while.

Go to makarov.com and ask them. They sell his eqipment there and I'm sure they can get in touch. They may be able to put a little pressure on and at least get him to contact you.
