Bear Coat teflon finish

Anyone have any experience with a coating for guns and magazines called Bear Coat thats put on by Rocky Mountain Arms, Inc. in Longmont, Colo.? It`s an industrial teflon thats guaranteed for life and comes in black, gray, and green. It also adds lubricity to the parts and is supposed to make them work better. I sent four new ruger factory 15 round mags to coat for me and was just wondering if anyone had tried it. Thanks, Roger

I haven't had any experience, but if you do a search for "Bear Coat" or "BearCote," there has been lots of discussion of the process.

BTW, what do they charge per mag?

Scott, they charge 50.00 total for 4 mags which includes shipping back. Roger

FWIW, one of my FALs has been BearCoated, and it looks and wears great.
