Bead Sight vs. Ghost Ring

Like most "What's better" questions, it depends on what you want the gun to do.
For strictly close range buckshot, most beads are all you need.
If you plan to use slug loads, too, beads are less accurate & typically less well regulated. For maximum utility across the board, ghostrings are much better.

Ghost ring but not much -

If the shotgun is a dedicated stand in the corner firearm in case of emergency use this then I would definitely go with ghost ring sights. If the shotgun is regularly used for claybirds and bird hunting then I'd go with bead and expect the practice to carry over. If most shooting is aimed, whether with rifle or handgun, then I'd go with ghost ring. If most shooting is instinctive then I'd go bead. Ghost ring is more versatile when used as a rifle substitute with a variety of ammunition especially slugs at longer ranges.

Bead, then rifle sights, then GR but many would say differently..

i dislike how high GR sights are.. i love the speed of the bead, and knowing that i can hit clays way out there with it, tells me it is pleantly accurate for most work... and it is the fastest...

for longer range and slug duty,... rifle sights kick but, and GR too sloppy... and with RS can use it like a bead most of the time if you like...
