This is just an oninion. The BDA is built to Italian specs by Beretta...NATO or other European spec'd ammo is usually quite a bit hotter than SAAMI spec, +P is right up there. The gun was designed to handle any ammo comercially available including the hotter Euro spec. IMO, I would say shoot any d*mn thing you want through it. I had a BDA years ago..now I have a CZ83. Both are VERY nice guns. I shot mostly hot loads through both guns with no problem..in fact the CZ likes the hotter ammo better than the standard stuff.
The point that its too nice to shoot hot ammo thru is worth thinking about.....especially if its the nickel. Shoot well
