Neat looking gun.

That might be a good model to use as a starting point, but those barrels don't look legal by today's norms. Interesting idea though. I'm assuming the bayonet stores along the top of the barrels and locks open?

It's a muzzle loader, does not fall under the same federal laws as a breachloader. Local laws may pose another problem, if built as a replica gun and used in a HD situation who's to say. Short barreled shotgun with spring loaded bayonet = long vacation at the fed's expense.

Yah a neet looking gun:D

With a gun like that you can be a "flash in the pan" :) those things were sensitive and would mis fire, the hammers are rocks of flint stone that spark when fired to send a spark to the powder charge inside them barrels. I want something a bit more up to date :) for HD

Seeing that episode gave me some funny ideas and got me looking at my coach gun in an entirely different way for a couple of days.:o But that all passed...
But what if I used a system similar to the SKS to lock the bayonet open so it wouldn't be so flimsy lookin? Oh no, here it comes again.

Why not make one spring loaded so it will come out the front, just sliding out and locking. One may not have the room for the blade to flip over when needed.
