I would like to carry my stainless Bauer 25 Auto. It's old, but in excellent condition. I'm a it nervous that it may not be safe and could discharge jostling in my pocket.

Any advice and it it safe to carry?

I'd be nervous pocket-carrying a striker-fired single-action semiautomatic with one in the chamber. I guess it depends on how confident you are that the safety isn't going to get knocked out of position.

Bauer's were pretty well made little guns. Not great guns, but nice quality for the times. Still... like ScottRiqui, condition 3 is the way I'd go unless that safety is rock solid.

A .25ACP in the thigh hurts a little.

The Bauer .25 was a pretty faithful copy of the Browning/FN "Baby" but was made of stainless steel. It was one of the first US guns made from stainless.
The Browning was first made in the late 1930s, and many thousands of them were carried loaded in pockets WITHOUT pocket holsters. With a pocket holster, your gun should be perfectly safe.
