barrel twist of a Mauser m12

Grabbed a Mauser m12 a little while back (with a little encouragement from tfl of course) and one thing that's eluded me is the twist.chambered in 30-06. Am I a dunce and just missed it somewhere?

I don't see that spec in their literature, either.
I would be much surprised if it were anything but 10" or 12" (or something near in even centimeters.)
Either will be fine with anything you might shoot out of a hunting rifle.

Here's the barrel twists of various rifles. Unfortunately, the Mauser's twist in .30/06 isn't in the list. However, note that other European-made rifles ARE in the list which may give you some clue as to what the twist is in your rifle's barrel. I've highlighted (bold-faced) those rifles that I'm SURE are foreign-made.

Other rifles in the list may be foreign-made and I simply don't know it.

30-06 - 1 in 10" Twist:
Browning 81 BLR, BAR Mark II, A-Bolt II; Colt,

Mountain Eagle; Thompson/Center Rifle;

30-06 - 1 in 12" twist

I hope this list is of help... :)

Strength & Honor...
