Picked up a sporterized 98 Mauser in nice shape. Came with a commercial .257 Robets bbl. No name just a caliber stamp in the usual place. On the underside of the bbl. at 6 o'clock is the barrel makers mark.
Its a partial from a light hit or polished out.
It looks like the better part of the Free Masons symbol, a carpenters square??
Anybody have a idea of the maker?
